Thought this was fun!
I saw this quiz on Mhari's blog and thought it was cute. So I thought I would take it too. Take it and let me know what you get. Also let me know if you are having problems leaving comments - I have had a couple of people tell me it wasn't working. I double checked, but you never know!

A new baby
On Friday morning, a couple of our good friends had a new little baby girl. Gary and Lisa now have Alissa Grace to add to their family. Just look at this little gal. . . . . seriously she is such a doll.
She is such an angel. I was worried that if I held her, I might change my mind and need another baby. Nope. . . . I need my sleep these days to keep up with my crew. But I really do like to hold her. I don't know if I could keep up with the kids I already have and get up every 3 hours all night. Good luck to you Lisa!
You know a new baby always inspires a round of pass-the-baby! Here is her brother holding her - - he is quite a cutie too! Alissa didn't want her picture taken here!
Of course, her daddy has to hold her.
Even my Macy held her. I won't even go into all the questions that Macy has asked now that the baby is out of Lisa's tummy. Branson never seemed concerned when Macy or Lane was born, but Macy is quite curious. She has also taken to playing with her baby dolls - -something she didn't really do before seeing Alissa. I think it is a good thing . . . .taking a break from being a princess!

One Big Halloween Post
I hadn't bothered to post any of our Halloween activities as they occurred. So after uploading pictures for what seemed like forever here are a few highlights of the past week. Once a year, regardless of the protests by some. . . . .we sit in the kitchen floor and carve pumpkins. Here are the three little ones getting ready to get messy! Notice their clothes - - -everyday is like Halloween here. Macy as Snow White and Branson as a Nebraska football player.
Macy and Lane pondered how to go about putting on a great jack o'lantern face on their pumpkin.
Lane and Daddy!
Apparently Lane likes to be held, more than Lane likes to play pumpkin. He really thought the whole pumpkin guts thing was disgusting!
Another child that didn't used to like pumpkin guts, now likes to carve elaborate designs on his pumpkin.
Lane will just poke the pumpkin. He saw Branson laying out the design on his pumpkin, so Lane thought he would do the same.
Posing with their finished products
A scary face and Sponge Bob!
Then a couple of days later, we made Cake Balls. The kids had fun decorating the little pumpkin like balls!
Our NeeNee even came over to help us out.
They tasted better than they looked. These have enough sugar in one little treat to do you in for a whole week!
Finally, it was Halloween. Branson and Lane were Mario and Luigi. They were too cute!
Macy was Princess Peach - from the same video game - for those of you not "in the know."
Here is the baby looking a bit gangsta in his Mario cap.
Here is the resident princess, looking rather . . . .well like she does every day of the year. I can't keep her in normal clothes.
We did have to do something a little special for her since the dress is quite common place for her. We did a parasol. She simply adored it.
Please, someone tell this little guy how to wear caps!
Peach and Mario out for a stroll.
After all the pictures were taken at the house, we went off to church for "Trunk or Treat." Lane drove. . . .
