Trout Fishing Concert!

Well those of you who have to endure any of my musical selections might already know that Trout Fishing in America is actually a band and not a fishing expedition. My husband, as thrilled as one can be, went with the kids and me to Dumas today for a concert. He was anything but eager to hear such songs as Alien in my Nose, Pico de Gallo, and the Nursery Rhyme Polka! We left this morning and stopped by Starbucks for a dose of caffeine to go with the concert and drove to Dumas. There weren't a lot of people in attendance, but the show was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed it. Lane didn't move a muscle the whole show, and it was over an hour long. My only regret was not taking my camera. Dan even had a good time. He smiled for almost the whole show - - however I don't know if he will admit it! If you are interested in the group, here is their website. http://troutmusic.com/ You can at least see how kooky they are. I have been listening to them since before there were CD's. Yes, that long! They have even been nominated for some Grammy's!
